The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex twice world title holder Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
Despite those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually recognized for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead criticized former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, frequently receiving massive earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and stated he would derail the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently in the works for 2026.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul met for the traditional stare-down, with their height and weight contrast evident, it drove home just how surprising this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is really proceeding.
