Makes enough for 10 guests

Ingredients for the Clementine Syrup (yields 750ml)

300ml recently pressed clementine juice
200ml newly squeezed lemon juice
500g granulated sugar

For the Premix (yields 850ml, enough for 10)

400ml decent vodka
100ml classic gin
150ml peach-flavored liqueur
200ml clementine cordial (as made above)
Whole cranberries, to garnish
Mandarin essential oil, as a final touch

Method

Making the Cordial: Place every ingredients inside a saucepan, bring to a simmer, agitating until the sugar dissolves. After that, remove from the heat and let it to cool down completely. Transfer to a sealable bottle, seal and refrigerate it chilled, where it will keep for about four weeks.

Preparing the Premix: Combine the specified liquids in a big jug, allow it to infuse for 60 minutes, then filter it best through cheesecloth, to ensure it's fully clarified.

When ready to serve: Measure 85ml from the premix into a stirring glass filled with ice, and agitate carefully for a minute until cold. Strain to a cold coupe glass or similar, garnish with some cranberries adding the final touch using a brief mist of mandarin oil over the drink.
